[NHL] MetroHockey Division (and the rest of the league)

Carcillo should have skated away.

And then turned as soon as the linesman was out of reach and run right at the guy who was fighting.

I have not given up on Chicago yet. But as I said to a coworker it seems that the Stanley Cup final is being played in the West right now.

Rangers vs. either LA or Chicago (praying for Los Angeles) in the finals.

Cup Finals Schedule:
  1. June 4 at LA/Chicago
  2. June 7 at LA/Chicago
  3. June 9 at New York
  4. June 11 at New York
  5. June 13 (if necessary) at LA/Chicago
  6. June 16 (if necessary) at New York
  7. June 18 (if necessary) at LA/Chicago

Blackhawks 13-0 in games 5, 6, and 7 of series the past 2 seasons, and 26-2 overall in games 5, 6, and 7 under Quenneville.

If Chicago wins Sunday, I make the following prediction: the Cup will be lifted on June 11th. Crawford will take the Connie. There will be NO overtimes.

Game 4 is on NBCSN instead of NBC

Fuck you NBC, and Fuck you NHL for signing such a terrible national TV deal. Sure hop that money makes up for the lack of exposure you're given.

Half of me is saying Rangers in 5, no OT's, Henrik is King and Connie (and old man Richards gets the cup winner).

Half of me is saying Kings in 7, 3 OT's, and Justin Williams gets the cup winner - while Quickie gets the Connie.

(shrug)

I'll go the tough route: Rags in 5, no OT's, Henrik for Connie.

I've done six simulated finals series using Strat-O-Matic for Windows. The Rangers won each series. Two went seven games, two went six, one went five and the last one was a Rangers sweep.

The Los Angeles Kings have not led a single second in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Finals.

...except for the last second.

Kings go to NYC up 2-0 and two wins away from their second Cup win in three years.
