[Movies] Talk about the last movie you saw 2: Electric Threadaloo

uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

not meaning to belittle your family moments / joy, but this movie looked somewhere between atrocious and the low point of everyone involved's career
Well, it wasn't. So you can rightly fuck off with your higher than thou "opinion" about movies you haven't seen.

tell me one joke from the movie that isn't "this person is old and doing something old people don't do"
Don't. Just don't, okay? I'm now starting to pull back from several weeks of depression and this movie did me a lot of good. Take your trolling elsewhere this time.

And not that this will change your opinion, but yes, that's the majority of the movie's jokes. But so are the old generation vs. young generation jokes. Or the heart behind the movie about people getting old and facing the things that they have to face.

And you know what? Still funny. So fuck off.

i don't know why i'm spoiling anything about this turd

Sam tries to pick up a woman. The woman Sam flirts with turns out to be a man cross dressing as Madonna.

Archie uses some of his winnings to buy them slots as judges. Popular singer Redfoo is the host. The men enjoy themselves thoroughly, especially when Redfoo begins to hump Paddy’s face.

The hotel staff asks Archie if he is actually a guest at the hotel and the four run (as fast as people their age can.)

The suite is beautiful but so high tech that the men barely know how to open the curtains

The girl who thought he looked like her grandfather is turned on by his charm and wants to have sex with him. Her clothes come off, but as they are about to begin Sam stops and says that all he wants to do when something good happens is tell his wife, so he remains faithful.

I'm not calling it some revelation of comedy or the greatest movie of the year or decade. It was a funny movie that I needed at the right time.

Now FUCKING DROP IT because frankly speaking, you're ruining what little good mood I had going tonight. But obviously, you don't give a shit about that because you're getting your shits and giggles off trolling. Didn't you say months ago that you had bad bouts of depression yourself? And not a single drop of mutual empathy, huh?

Gilgamesh, you would suffocate if i ever made a post saying "breathing is good and i think you should do it"[DOUBLEPOST=1383621443,1383621283][/DOUBLEPOST]tng, i'm not trolling or intentionally trying to make you feel bad, I just thought that movie looked turrible, I'm done making fun of it now

I apologize for talking about the last movie you saw
You: "Not meaning to belittle your..."
Me: Fuck off. (Should've been your first hint, as I save swearing for special moments like this.)
You: Continues to troll.
Me: Don't. Just don't. (Big red flag there)
You: CONTINUES STILL.

I fucking hate it when people do that. You ask them to drop it and what do they do? Continue on and on. Goading and trolling. But no, no you can't do that, can you? Because Charlie's gotta always get his trolling two cents in.

I am literally just posting my negative opinions about Last Vegas, and I explicitly said that I am not making fun of you for liking it so it wouldn't be misunderstood. The only negative thing I said on the subject was on the movie "Last Vegas"

like, me being a jerk on this subject would look a lot different than "last vegas does not look funny"

like, me being a jerk on this subject would look a lot different than "last vegas does not look funny"
Yeah, that's totally all you did.

Nick: "I've been going through depression lately and this movie made me laugh and I had a good time with my family."
Charlie: "That movie's shit. Oh yeah, no offense."

Please explain why it was so important to vomit out your irrelevant opinion on what someone else enjoyed while going through a hard time in his life. Please explain what made it so important that you had to shit on someone else's feelings when you know, because he said it in the post specifically, that this has been a hard time. You seemed like you had learned your lesson in the Walking Dead thread about not just jumping in when someone else enjoys something and proclaiming your unnecessary and worthless thoughts. And no one told you that--you did it on your own. You showed forward thinking all by yourself, just like a big boy.

So explain to me the need for backing away from pissing on a show when the lot of us in that thread can handle your assholery and instead picking on someone who wasn't in the mood for it and has been dealing with depression and just wanted to express that they had a nice day for a change.

last time i checked the thread wasn't called 'praise every movie and always agree when someone likes a movie'

the walking dead thread was about that show, and I stopped caring about it enough to even read reviews to see what happened so it just fell off my radar

And I'm sure if you hadn't posted, you would've felt yourself being pre-censored, your right to free speech compromised, all because you let someone depressed be happy they saw a movie that made them happy without sticking your dick in the subject.

From that thread.

I should listen to my momma when she says "if you don't have something nice to say-" etc, sorry for doing a driveby on this thread
Your momma tried her best to raise you decently from the sound of it, but she should've swallowed you.

I'm guessing Charlie's complete lack of social awareness is just bleed over online.

I mean, it has to be right?

Gilgamesh, you would suffocate if i ever made a post saying "breathing is good and i think you should do it"
Only if you did it while White Knighting causes you have zero understanding of, or making socially idiotic commentary (like in this thread),or acting like you have any sense when it comes to music/movies/tvshows, or one of the many many other hilarious things you do that you don't even realize/think you're doing which makes it 10x funnier.

Flip Side: @ThatNickGuy - Glad you loved the movie, it really helps to find something to smile/laugh about in those situations, even more so when you can connect with family. Kudos brother.

this is not picking on someone, it is not some sort of horrible personal affront to say "I think something you like is not good". I didn't give half a fuck when TNG posted his "i don't care about lady gaga" in my thread earlier today raving about her new album.

that is me literally in plain english saying "i don't mean this as an attack on you / making fun of you"
Kind of like someone saying "no offense" right before saying something they know will offend the recipient.

I say again: please explain why it was required of you to post that knowing the circumstances as mentioned in Nick's post.

Except I don't do that kind of shit when I mention in the SAME POST that I've been struggling with depression for weeks. Major difference there, you socially incompetent troll.[DOUBLEPOST=1383624211,1383624161][/DOUBLEPOST]

Hey, you know those people that say, "I'm not racist, but..."

SAME THING.
