I think it's the imbalance of full formal wear on top and just underpants on the bottom that makes it feel like she forgot pants to me.

Went to my parents' for dinner on Sunday, and didn't manage two minutes to talk to them, they were both jumping around the house doing this-or-that, and during the meal they were wrapped up in conversation with my sister and her boyfriend about hockey and football teams/players/trades which I don't know anything about. So I was vexed. I invited my father out for dinner last night, but he was busy. He called me a little while ago and asked if I wanted to dinner tonight.

I'm completely exhausted, and slept terribly... but I figure since I've been whining about not getting time with my parents, and also since I'm a sucker for a free meal... I agreed to go. I mean, I'm grateful. I just also wish I wasn't so damn burnt out, and had slept better.

Today is a proud day in the history of the Missouri-kansas rivalry. 150 years ago, a group of Missourian's burned lawrence, ks to the ground, killing 164 innocent civilians.

Ok that may sound harsh, but to put it in proper context, lawrence was a union town and they were trying to take away our right to own slaves.

On second thought, maybe we weren't quite the good guys in this one.

Pbbt. Like every optimization algorithm since the dawn of optimization algorithms knows how to prevent outliers from driving the fit. Take that, Wiener!

Just out of curiosity, how many folks here enjoy haunted house attraction? Those who do like them might want to look into possibly attending Halloween Horror Nights. It's a really top-notch Halloween event held at Universal Studios theme parks.

... are you a spambot sleeper cell?

I did a flashlight tour of the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (AKA Weston State Hospital) just after doing the haunted house they set up in the old TB ward. The tour was far more interesting.

Just to be clear, you roomed with your roomie before you started dating this other girl, yes?
Me and this other girl aren't even dating. Like, we hung out a few times. Maybe got a little kissy-face.

But yeah, I've lived with room-ette coming up on a year now.

I guess I'm not sure if living with a girl is something I have to bring up on a date or whatever. I feel like it's a non-issue but it always creates this uneasiness.

I recently went on a few dates with a girl, who accused me (after leaving the restaurants) on two of the evenings we were out, that I was ogling waitresses the entire time, and it was very disrespectful (this was not the case, but she then turned to the argument that I was doing it 'unconsciously' and she can tell what men are looking at), and that she didn't want my Facebook info (I don't even have Facebook, but anyway) because she 'wasn't ready' to see pictures of my ex-girlfriends and girls who might be interested in me.

I decided to break it off. I mean, one of my ex-girlfriends is actually a very good friend of mine still, and my closest friend is a very lovely girl (there is nothing/will be nothing romantic between us), so how would she have reacted to those facts? Best not to wonder, probably...

Also - is your roommate hotter than your would-be squeeze?
Hmmm. I guess it depends on what you're into. She's certainly attractive, so I'm sure that's what causes a lot of the problems.[DOUBLEPOST=1377286985,1377286738][/DOUBLEPOST]

I dated a girl who used to ask me "Oh, did you two ever do anything?" with EVERY girl that I was friends with. It got so irritating.

You did the right thing.

Yeah, you're hosed.

I like the idea that you were simultaneously doing it "unconsciously" and that doing so was "very disrespectful". Get your story straight, lady.

I pointed this out. What she said was that basically it was impossible for men not to look at other women, so what I should do is be conscious of her and just tell her every so often that she is prettier/I wouldn't rather be with anyone else. That was the point in the conversation I decided to tell her that, although I enjoy her company and think she's lovely, I really can't ... I just can't.

I dated a lady that did not like me looking at women when we were together. Really I look up anytime somebody walks through the room, it could be a woman or a man. When she brought that up, she did not appreciate it when I mentioned that she watches every man in the room. Hell, there was a pool hall that we would go into that she would hug every man there. "How did you know that all these guys were here if you only have your eyes on me?"

I have quite a few past girlfriends. My feelings for each and every one of them are the same as when we were dating. There are just certain activities/subjects/privileges/assumptions which are no longer authorized, either mutually or ethically.

Feelings are feelings. Actions are another thing entirely.

Lovely... looks-wise, I'm guessing? Because that sounds like a heaping helping of looney stew.
