Is that how it works? It was Aggravated Kidnapping, officer! I object! It was ESPECIALLY Aggravated Kidnapping!

The Son-in-law works at a the father-on-law flooring company and stole about 300$ worth of jewelry from a client. The father-in-law found out and lay a beating and ask for the money to return. An Xbox was traded since the son-in-law spent the money and later release which he report to the police. the father-in-law is arrested, but what about the son? who stole in the first place? (I guess the client have to press charges)
