I think originally the idea there was it was an outlet for women to discuss sex and to think about sex in a culture that (outwardly) discouraged that. If it were about ways for women to please themselves during sex it would be obscene but if women wanted to learn to please their mate then that was more reasonable.

That is just my theory.

That being said.... let's not forget the passion propeller

I saw a japanese porn of people supposedly doing this. But my personal opinion is the guy is going to get hurt.. badly... just attempting it.

I have to admit I'm a little baffled due to not being into DC or Marvel. They aren't too big here in Finland, and somehow trying to get into all the frickin' lore just sounds like too much work.

Also, I admit being ambivalent about Alan Moore's work. I loved the Watchmen movie, but when I tried to read the comic... well, the visual style just kinda failed for me :( I am, however, a hardcore League of Extraordinary Gentlemen fan due to the fact that Kevin O'Neill's visual style is just perfectly suited for the somewhat irreverent writing style of Mr Moore. The movie, however, sucks monkey bollocks.

I do the same, from time to time. I have to be in the right kinda mood for porn, though... sometimes I just simply get bored trying to watch it.

I mean I watched it this afternoon. I feel no guilt.

I loooove watching Snapped. Something about hearing stories of women who were either driven to a moment of madness or simply wanted to swindle a man out of his money makes me feel a little saner on those not-so-sane days.
