Thanks Dave.

Your H2G2 joke a couple of weeks ago prompted me to re-visit my Hitch-Hikers material.
Since listening to the original series on BBC Radio in 1978 I have been hooked, and I have nearly all versions of it that have been released, and have just spent a happy two weeks transferring the box set (Tapes!) of the broadcast version to CD's in my spare time. Each version (Broadcast, Vinyl, Books.) has differences from the others.
Now I must re-read my Dirk Gently Books.

I read the first two books last weekend. I had been on pace to finish the third, but I lost all interest once Arthur and Ford hit the cricket pitch and stopped.

I want to watch the Tv show again at some point. I only ever saw a few episodes only sporadically nearly 30 years ago

But the fourth one finally has some sex in it!
