...okay yeah that is probably better. Either way, both versions sound really awesome with noise cancelling head-phones.I feel like the Marilyn Manson cover is a little to similar to the Gravity Kills cover for me to think that he didn't kind of steal some of it. It came out 2 years before Marilyn Manson's cover.
Ever.(his version of NiN's Hurt remains to be one of the best things I've heard, ever)
Close second? Also a NiN cover/duet:(his version of NiN's Hurt remains to be one of the best things I've heard, ever)
I was just coming here to post this. I still love all of Manson's older stuff but Gravity Kills version is far better and as you add, it really sounds like he ripped them off.I feel like the Marilyn Manson cover is a little to similar to the Gravity Kills cover for me to think that he didn't kind of steal some of it. It came out 2 years before Marilyn Manson's cover.
No love for Danzig?I have a thing for vocalists with legendary unique voices: J.Cash, D.Bowie, A.Winehouse, L.Armstrong, C.Jackson, M.Jackson etc
Props to him for continuing the tour, he's a hard working entertainer. A lot of stars would wimp out and cancel shows.http://music.yahoo.com/blogs/stop-t...nson-gives-audience-real-shock-173942617.html
as good place as any for this... He passed out in the middle of a show.
I actually loved his cover of Tainted Love.Much as I was a fan of his original stuff, whenever Manson covered a song it sounded like he was trying too hard to be edgy and ironic, and it turned me off.
I tend to like Manson's covers. Tainted Love, Nightmare Before Christmas, Golden Years etc.I actually loved his cover of Tainted Love.
Huh?Just cause something's David Bowie, doesn't automatically make it awesome. Look, it almost does but Dancing in the Streets proves it wrong. That cover was shitty.
Also, I vote for Depeche Mode.
I was replying to this, but apparently didn't reply to it.Well, yeah, it's David Bowie. That's like asking if cake is delicious.
Nothing anyone does is 100% perfect, but artists like Bowie are very much more hit than miss.I was replying to this, but apparently didn't reply to it.
1:04, Mick Jagger nightmare face.I think he's talking about this
True enough, but really, if you told someone with any sense that Mick Jagger and David Bowie were doing a cover to a song their response should be a unanimous shout of joy.
