I get how it's thematic, but really Blizzard? Really?

I've been making very slow progress on my latest mage arena run. That earlier screenshot of a match going to fatigue was game 2 of the run. Games 3 and 4 were just as close, though they didn't go to fatigue. I won both, but I have a hard time letting go of the stress. Finally played game 5 today, and beat my opponent pretty soundly. Silencing his Voidlord when I was already ahead (due to polymorphing a Doomguard that went face) really made the game an easy win. Well, that and my opponent having a slow start, letting me Shifting Scroll -> Cabalist Tome -> Cabalist Tome.

I like arena better when games don't get into edge-of-my-seat topdeck wins until after game 5 or so. And when they start hard and then switch to easy, I just get confused.

Kept losing the brawl, since this week's brawl started out mostly being v. Priest but then ended up being an endless run of Hunter/Shaman/Hunter/Hunter/Shaman/Hunter/Shaman opponents.
With only 19hrs left, I finally just went and spent enough of my dust hoard to craft a second Evolve and played Shaman. First game (v. Hunter), lost. Second game (v. Hunter), won with a Bloodlust after the second wave of gifts dropped. Got my 3 packs.

Totally worth it. #2 and #3 were the usual 4 common + 1 rare, but my first one?

TIL: that using a Faceless Manipulator on The Darkness (card, not boss) results in an unactivated copy.

I wonder if it's any different if you copy your own Darkness (since the cost has already been paid for that player).

My wife let me hook up Twitch to her Amazon (the one with Prime), so I got the golden pack. I don't know if this was the guarantee for everyone, but I got two commons, a rare, an epic, and a legendary, so that was cool.

I was going through a dungeon run with Mage, and I came across Gutmook after adding three more spells to my already spell heavy deck. I thought I was screwed. But then this happened:

Hearthstone Screenshot 01-02-18 Army of Ragnarosi.png

That's all from one ragnaros, and Gutmook killed one himself. I don't have the double deathrattle bonus. My wand of wonder pulled Molten Reflection, Molten Reflection and Carnivorous Cube (that's a different cube on the board). I stalled until I could play Rag, then eat it, then copy the cube twice. I didn't think it would work out so well, but I survived long enough to start killing off the cubes and spawning Rags.

Now my next fight is Togwaggle, and I'm to tired to keep going at the moment.

Hunter needs a Stinging Trap. When your hero is attacked, give your minions poisonous.

    Show Spoiler
Bees in the trap, b-bees in the trap.

Glad I made time to win my brawl battle on Sat before it went away.
No, my Classic pack was nothing special to speak about, but I completed a quest and got enough to buy a single Gadgetstan pack...

I miss Blingtron, and the days when my Mech Hunter deck worked (up into the low teens, at least). Honestly, that deck was the most fun I've had in constructed Hearthstone.
