At BananaHands ' suggestion, he has created a Halforums tumblr:

Currently the plan is to repost popular quotations of the week, cosplayer photos, artist drawings/photos, popular threads, and the like. But we'd love to hear more suggestions and get you guys following this tumblr too!

If Zappit has an icon he wants to use for a watermark, I'll totally convert it to an .ai file and place it on his comics (or we could do the HalForums logo, it's his art so whatever he wants). We could post those weekly/monthly/whatever too. Add to his fanbase as well and draw some people in.

Book reviews could be placed on the page as well. Any podcasts you guys want to do.

I don't know, I feel like this would be a great way to get exposure.

I'll try to put a watermark together by this weekend.

Anything.

There are seriously no limits. You can do photos, videos, stories, music, just..whatever you want. And then there is also reblogging things from other tumblr users, and you can reblog anything anyone else posts.

It's possible. It says your tumblr title at the top with white boxes around it, but nothing clickable or anything that says 'follow'. And if I scroll the bottom, it just shows me who you follow, or I can search, random post, RSS feed or archive.

I just gave you a follow back when my dash showed me that you follow me now.

It ''updates'' in the sense that whenever LittleKagsin posts something, it shows up on the dash of whoever is controlling the halforums account. It won't actually show anything on the blog until they decide to reblog it.

There's no auto-reblog function?

Since the HalForums page is one that can have multiple mods, it can't follow any blogs. But! People can follow them and you can see which mod posted what.

Speaking of which, Dave time to figure out how to do this mod thing. Who's gonna be them?

It's not much more than another Facebook/Twitter thing. You subscribe/friend someone and then you get updates/pictures from them and you can do the same.

So, I followed the HalForums tumblr. We'll see if I use mine. Maybe I'll try to update it. I like to write, I just have to get off my ass and do it.

Wait, actually? That seems... weird to me. Most social media doesn't become concentrated porn.

It's anonymous and lets you repost/share/like images.

I'm not sure my Tumblr actually is predominantly cosplay. I don't have a theme, just whatever I find interesting. It's kind of varied in it's nerdery.

I post so rarely to mine. It's more of an excuse to have a dashboard to catch up on what everyone else is posting.

I'm trying to motivate myself to set up the fuckyeahleapinlawyer tumblr, but at this stage, we'd get "oh, you're just ripping off McKayla Is Not Impressed," even though we predate that by years.

[ETA: it is done. Same deal as the the HF tumblr, need email addresses to add mods before opening this up to public submissions.]

That made me wonder what Watson would do after reading Tumblr for a bit. I figure he'd start writing fan-fic with Kasparov / Deep Blue as his OTP, with the occasional Kasparov / Deep Blue / Turing as his OT3 (tumblr loves Turing).

So, write that up as a (hopefully) witty Tumblr post, give it a good headline (I'm thinking "Urban Dictionary gives Watson a potty mouth"), we milk the Watson tag for all it's worth and hope the Sherlock fandom thinks my post is funny enough to reblog.

Any objections to my posting a thread on the subject on Halforums, a post on the Halforums Tumblr with a link to the thread and hoping for the best?

If you really want to shamelessly whore like that, just get somebody to draw the homestuck trolls as ponies. Less effort.

I feel bad for anyone who follows me....My extreme obsession with Once Upon a time (and when I say Once Upon a Time...I mean Hook from Once Upon a Time) is revealed. It's really not okay, but I don't try to stop myself at all.

Honestly, you're not that strange compared to some of the people I already follow on Tumblr. Solo-Forever already posts way more dudes kissing each other than you do (and occasionally forgets and reblogs outright porn.) Hetalia seems preferrable to the Homestuck that Viria has started posting lately. Heck, I had to unfollow Obscurus Lupa because when she finds a new Tumblr to love she reblogs almost everything in a massive flood. Another Tumblr I follow, that shall remain nameless, reblogs cutting pics when she's feeling stressed, and that's really disturbing even if not very gory.

Sorry dude. I just retroactively added the nsfw tag to everything applicable in my tumblr, and will do so in the future for Halforums reblogs.

What's a guy got to do to get reblogged by the Halforums tumblr? Do you only reblog the draw every days? I have a longterm goal of finding the magical recipe that gets me reblogged, but it never happens.
