My wife rolls her eyes at me when I wrap my 9v battery terminals in duct tape before throwing them away.

We buy them in 12pks, because a dozen ProCells costs as much as 4 "normal" alkalines.
And when you buy them by the dozen, they come with little tabs on the terminals, so we just xfer the tabs from new to old and we're good.
