Being a huge metal fan my entire life, GWAR especially, this one sucks to see. I mean age 50? That's harsh. There are plenty who didn't like GWAR's style or music but they put on a live show like no other.

brockie was a legit nice guy who always seemed to be well liked by everyone in his industry. I liked him because he wasnt afraid to make fun of himself.

Wow, that guy was actually a fan! So cool to see GWAR get good treatment from the host of a show like this. You could tell the people on the show 'got it'.

Really, would we have expected anything else? I mean, I like the guy's antics, was moderately amused by the music, but his destiny was written decades ago.

It's too bad, but yeah I can't really say I'm surprised, I guess.
