I got this all installed and ready to go so I should be there for a little while at least.
Yeah, it's Friday so I don't think I'll be seeing any guildies from SWTOR (especially since they bungled the 1.2 patch), so I should definitely be there.

Is the Punkbuster update required or can I just have installed it as-is and the game?
Punkbuster tries to connect to specific servers to check and see if your game is valid. Unfortunately, those servers no longer exist, so it's needed.

Offtopic: That's why one of my "Dealbreakers" is not being part of the gaming world. I just couldn't sit playing games for 2-4hrs knowing my sig other was just sitting around doing somethingelse. Then again, I did it for 6-7yrs, and fought about it constantly so that's my motivation against it.

Basic FPS experience has served me well as far as learning the game so far. Now it's just figuring out the maps..
