I think we've also been over this before, but cutting it all the way into a sphere is egregiously wasteful, it takes longer and removes more material (a total of 48% of the volume is removed!), when cutting it into a cylinder would have achieved the dude's desired effect, faster and with less waste (only removing 21%).
