So, yeah, still getting the 315300 login message on my PC, but not on my laptop.

Of all the things for there to be errors for, checking a username and password against a database should not be one of the most difficult to implement.

I'm getting Error 33, down for maintenance. Apparently people in Europe can log in ATM. Albeit with the login server sucking a dick.

Well considering most people posting are in areas where the game's not up and running yet, yeah. Got another 3 hours before US servers go live.

Yeah, I won't be playing for a few more days. My concern is that the error code that I get when trying to log in from my PC is the same one I got in the open beta, which was never resolved.

So, I was at Future Shop tonight picking up some headphones and my buddy who works there let me know even he pre-ordered Diablo 3. He doesn't have a PC.

Haha, what. Maybe he's planning to resell it or something? Is it a CE or just the regular version?

Well, I don't think I've ever been happier to see an error message that the servers are down. It means that my logon is working and I should be good to go when I want to play.

Alright, I went to Options and correctly changed my region to The Americas, and now I'm getting the proper "server maintenance" message.

Just picked up my Collectors Edition, it is glorious. My little demon skull with Soulstone USB stick (came with a free D2 loaded on it) is now a main centerpiece of my desk.

P.S. Bowielee, I know this issue has seemed to correct itself, but do you capitalize any of the letters in your username e-mail? I used to have the same error as you, and noticed it was happening again when I tried to log on earlier, but I remembered that to get through it I just made sure all my letters in the username were lowercase.

Not sure why Diablo 3 cares but it does.

Scythe, the workaround I had to use was to create a new windows user account with admin privileges and launch the game from there. I have no idea why it works, but it does.

Hey if anyone is on the fence about playing the game, and want to just give it a try first before buying, I got three guest passes with the CE. It let's you download and play the game up to the Skeleton Boss for free. Just throw me a PM and I will get back to you sometime in the afternoon tomorrow. First come first serve.

I got in and played for a bit. A couple of changes from the beta. Skills and runes come earlier, giving you more options. I think they were just holding back on them for the beta.

The weapons are now restricted by class, so no more monks with two handed bows. I like that as well.

Time for bed and then finals prep. I won't be logging back on until thursday after finals are over.

Blizzard games getting released unfinished and untested.

I think one bug slipping through isn't that bad, and hopefully will be fixed quickly. It could have been a lot worst.

Anyways game is great, but now I have to go to work. :(
