I clicked on the link to Pink Bunnie, as I was curious to see this cosplayer held in such esteem by the Cosplay Czar. Upon loading the site, I was blown away by this dude's costume:



Damn, I wish I had a 3D printer :(

That's a FANTASTIC Dark Knight Cecil costume.

Sigh. The next closest con to me is... Anthrocon in Pittsburgh.

OTOH, their HQ hotel is the same one MLB teams use when playing the Pirates. Visiting radio is *very* interesting on those dates.

I posted a couple progress pics on a thread I made for cosplay/convention. Really though I'm pretty awful at taking progress photos. I don't have a bodyform and make my own patterns (not "by the book") so I do things a little funny. Lots of little mess ups and trying things on, so I fail to document most if not all of it.
I love seeing cosplayers post their progress, though... trying to remember to take more photos, myself.

I do the same thing Heatherling! I don't have a dress form, so I pin things together, try it on, sew it together, then take it in so it fits properly. =^^= I'm doing better at taking progress shots, but I normally just forget. You get working and time just flys by and before you know it..it's all done and you forgot to take pictures. Heh!

Also...I did set up my flickr account if anyone wants to go look. =^^=

And then add in the fact that I don't have a smart phone and I can't send pics straight to facebook with my phone, either (ghettooooo). Also add in the time it takes to dump the photos onto my computer, then I always do quick edits (crop, rotate, etc) on everything I ever upload, and then posting it... I usually just dump them on the computer then get distracted. ;)

Heatherling - Yep!! I was part of their group last year. It was awesome and so fun to meet them. =^^=
Also, yes I totally understand about the no phone to upload from and the crazy photo dumps to the computer! I getcha. Haha!
