The Awesome Videos Thread (with Extra Sauce!)

Is it sad that I have played the game that video is from? It was an "interactive" board game centered around the Next Gen Enterprise. Everyone is off on shore leave except the players due to some system malfunctions. That lone Klingon takes over the ship and tries to fly it into Klingon space to ignite a new war between the Klingons and Federation and the object of the game is to stop him. You're supposed to answer to him appropriately whenever he popped up on the tape. That quickly devolved into us going, "Yes, Captain Forehead?" or "Commander Cool!" or any number of other more colorful things we could think of when the parentals weren't around to eavesdrop. I believe the "Beij" or whatever was like Chance in Monopoly.

I remember reading about a kid doing that back when I was in grade school. He had also invented a way to make your bed in one step by attaching clothespins to the sheets with strings wound around pulleys on the headboard. When you got out of bed, you pulled the strings and...presto!

My friends' band. They won a radio contest on CBC Radio 1 during the Juno weekend. This is one seems to be their more popular song, with some pictures of the band thrown in.

And by "Pictures of the Band" I mean "Unflattering pictures of one of the members."

This person is much, much better at Tetris than me:

Watch all the way to the end. If you think the beginning is nuts, it gets worse.

My father once told me that great ability at playing pool is a sign of a wasted youth. I feel that he might say the same about tetris, but fuck if that wasn't impressive.

My grandmother would spend about an hour at a stretch playing Windows tetris on our computer, whenever she'd visit. It got into quite the competition between her, my mother and my aunts. Nanny always dominated, though.

This, though.... this was ungodly.

Ok, that Tetris one.

It began impressively.

Then it just became completely fucking absurd.

EDIT: Also, I can respect doing a Star Wars theme, just fucking because. Much approve. :thumb:

He was still reacting to the Conga song so he didn't actually flip midsong to the Phil Collins version. Still, he was smoking or something and just looked bored as hell. I'd say one of the worst.
