[Movies] The Upcoming Movies Trailer Thread

Resident Evil

This looks like it might lean towards earnest campiness, which honestly, if you're adapting closer to the original games, that's the way to do it.

Are they adapting one and two into only one movie? The trailer already feels overstuffed with plot elements. At least it looks closer to the games.

This is such a weird use of this song, but at least it's not Hallelujah.

I'm gonna be honest, just in terms of appearance, none of these actors remind me of their video game counterparts.

Also, are they going to give Chris his RE5 biceps? Cause those were some impressive biceps.

At least we won't be confusing it for all the other Needle In a Timestack movies... I guess?

You know what? It's a title that sticks in your brain. Maybe not in a good way, but it's there now. Living rent-free.

Is it stuck in there like something pointy? Like say, a needle? In a ti- woah, ok, put down the gun.

Now I want to read the story. I've liked other Silverberg stories (Lord Valentine's Castle, Nightfall (with Asimov), and numerous shorts), but yeah, I don't think I would've ever read it solely on the title.
I seriously thought the title will be " Time after Time"
I thought maybe Second Chances, but turns out there are already multiple movies with that title, and even a newspaper strip.

Time Lost

The Flash (2022)

I thought this was going to be called Flashpoint, but I guess not.

Peacemaker

This looks like a hoot. I'm in.
Maybe DC is just teasing but who else thinks the Batman in "The Flash" will be an alternate Batman played by Michael Keaton? Also what is he reacting to at the end?

I can only assume he's reacting to the Batmobile.

And it's definitely confirmed that this Batman is played by Michael Keaton. Some speculate it's the same Batman as the Tim Burton movies, but I don't know. If they were bold, I would reveal at the end that it's a future Gotham. Bruce is retired. And he gets a call from someone named Terry.

New trailer for The Batman.

Looks solid, though it feels like it's aping a bit too much of Nolan's style. I was hoping for a bigger departure.

Nice to see a Batmobile that looks like an actual car rather than a tank, though.
