6pm EDT today:
Stocks, Bond Yields, Oil Fall on New China Tariffs
Wall Street was rattled by the news, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average erasing a rebound of more than 300 points. The index closed down 281 points [down 581 points from its high], or 1.1% lower. The S&P 500 slid 0.9% and the technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite lost 0.8%. Oil prices sank almost 8%, their biggest drop since February 2015.
It's just blatant Stock Market manipulation at this point for him and his buddies, isn't it.

House Oversight Committee said:
Overall, the new documents obtained by the Committee reveal that, with regard to
Saudi Arabia, the Trump Administration has virtually obliterated the lines normally
separating government policymaking from corporate and foreign interests. The documents
show the Administration’s willingness to let private parties with close ties to the President
wield outsized influence over U.S. policy towards Saudi Arabia. These new documents
raise serious questions about whether the White House is willing to place the potential
profits of the President’s friends above the national security of the American people and
the universal objective of preventing the spread of nuclear weapons.
This must be why Rep Cummings is crime infested.

"Hey everyone. I got some great news. Really great news. My space force is hard at work building a new space station. It's gonna be the best space station, only the best. On it we will cure cancer, and also live, myself and all my friends. We will live up there and make sure cancer is cured and of course we will likely, maybe, bring it back to you all, definitely. No this isn't like that movie Elysium, I have never seen it. No, we call it Trumpsium, the greatest space station ever built. Bye everyone, and Make Space America Great Again!"

I find it hilarious that Republicans love to say "but that'll raise consumer prices!". Can't raise the minimum wage, because "things" will cost more. Can't raise taxes, can't regulate businesses, can't protect consumers, can't protect the environment, can't do anything because it'll "force businesses" to charge customers more.

BUT when Dolt45 says that "China will pay for the tariffs", suddenly he's an economic wizard who has figured out the magic incantation that will force businesses to pay more to the government without raising prices.

Aug 2 - mocks member of Congress for being burgled, withdraws DNI candidate after candidate revealed to be an idiot
Aug 1 - cures cancer and AIDS in Cincinnati, causes cancer with windmills, intentionally kills stock market; again.
Jul 31 - celebrates war criminal, manages the Navy via Twitter, signs international pharmaceutical trade agreement without consulting anyone including the other countires
Jul 30 - openly mocked at the first public speech he gives after 2.5 years in office
Jul 29 - rescued dozens of victims as a 9/11 first responder, feels comfortable mocking other 1st responders

Yep, it's a Gish gallop of never ending crap.

Doh! I forgot the undocumented call to Putin on Wednesday, that we only learned about because Russia told us.

@blotsfan Trump and his team are removing old tweets about calling immigrants invaders and stuff about El Paso. Like, you know, nobody will notice or have screen prints.

They are also purging reposting. All the thoughts and prayers tweets were dominated with negative replies, so they get deleted and reposted so Russian bots can reload them with the correct responses.

If anything, Trump + Mitch have shown a fundamental flaw in your checks-and-balances. The Founding Fathers definitely didn't intend a single (unelected for the role) person to hold the whole legislative power in his hand.
