Games on SALE!

No dailies and no flash sales. Everything'd at about normal discount prices. Cities: Skylines is still only 50% off and the expansion isn't even on sale. Beyond Earth is at -63% for some odd reason, but still hesitant about it. both would've been buys at -75%, probably. Meh.

Dark Souls for $5. Yoink! Now I can play even when my wife is using the TV for Fallout 4.

If it runs. We'll see.
You WILL need to get the fan patch to make this game work well... but when you do, it will run better than the console versions. You'll still want a controller though.

Thanks; I forgot about that. Right now I'm working to get the PS3 controller installed.

If it can get Blighttown to not drop framerate, that'll be cool. Hopefully it won't just drop all the framerate because my computer is a relic at this point.

Okay, actually, I need more help. I thought this would be easy to pinpoint, but there are a few fan patches. What is the crucial one that helps it run well?

Ever since Steam switched to New Taiwan Dollars for me, some games have been unbuyable because there aren't any prices listed. Most notably, Dishonored. I wanted to get Dishonored on sale this year, but apparently whoever's making these decisions have deemed their game too good for my New Taiwan Dollars.

Bah, humbug.

What happened to all the old taiwan dollars?

DSFix is the bare minimum. You'll want the Connectivity Fix if you wish to engage in Golly Cooperation. The HD Texture pack is a good choice too.
There's improvement, but I think my PC just isn't up for it. It's frustrating because it's not like it's unplayable--it's very close to good--but good enough to be an enjoyable experience.

And now my wife is looking at laptops that will be going on sale Black Friday. For $200, I could be playing 2014 and earlier PC games without issue, but I'm not sure we should be spending that money right now after some recent expenses, and feeling like Christmas bonus should probably be going into savings, not video games. Our current lappies still do the trick; mine at least isn't chugging or giving me heartache even after four years. So buying a new one could be wasting money, or not buying one could be tempting fate.

Got Lords of the Fallen and Wolfenstein the Old Blood for cheap. Don't think there's anything else this Steam sale that interests me.

Buy Hand of Fate! It's $9.99 now and I feel like it's never got the hype it deserves while being an immensely fun game.

I want this game, too, the way no one will shut up about it. But I'm also cheap, so....

After refunding MGS: Revengence and Witcher 1 & 2, I have about $13 credit...which is still pending.

I get the feeling it won't clear before the end of the sale so I can still take advantage of it.

GOG.com has Giants: Citizen Kabuto free for a limited time.

I got this one free with a sound card back when I first built a computer myself, and I loved it back then. It's flawed, but loveable. I'll probably end up replaying it. I never have played the multiplayer, but I hear it's like nothing else.

So... Steam sale's started.

My Steam library's oversaturated right now, so I think it's quite possible I won't buy anything this sale. Plus I keep playing Skyrim anyway.

Rust finally decided it wasn't too good for a steam sale and is now $10. Thinking about getting that.
Dishonored's 5 bucks, will probably finally snag that as well.
I'll probably also get around to getting Rocket League now that it's $14.
Also considering Elite Dangerous for 15 bucks, and Borderlands: The Pre-sequel for 16 bucks.
