The Awesome Videos Thread (with Extra Sauce!)

Huh. I expected that to be the "Larry and Steve" one-off that was on Cartoon Network. But it wasn't.
No, this was Seth's thesis film, which would inspire the one-off "Larry and Steve". I decided to feature this one, considering a few early cutaway gags from Family Guy turn up here.

I had a feeling it was too good to be true. :(

I wonder if the potential can still be used for, say, parking lots like the project's main goal has established.

As they go over in the second half of the video, it'd be far more efficient, inexpensive and lower maintenance to just build solar panels on covered parking roofs. Skip to about 15:15.

Yeah, I just got to that. I'm smacking my head more as I get further into the video. Can't believe I ever thought this might be a good idea.

I didn't watch the video, but I'd be willing to bet every WV politician would be lining up to put a stop to this anyway. Their paymasters in the coal and chemical industries would never want this to even get to prototype stage.

Well, it's past the prototype stage, but once you watch the video, you'll understand why they aren't worried about it. It's basically completely unfeasible.

I generally don't care for the work of either Green brother, but this mental floss was pretty good, if for no other reason than it added "Hotter than a half-fucked fox in a forest fire" to my repertoire. I look forward to using it later this month. This is Texas, after all.

Welp, I'll be using at least 90% of these in future Dill adventures.

I'm not entirely sure but I think amazon just put up a preview trailer for a documentary about adults who have just discovered their genitals for the first time.
