I will never get over how much I love BBQ and real, good BBQ. I know it's not healthy and in large amounts is bad for me, but seriously...it's my favorite food. And it probably always will be. MMMmmm, BBQ....I'm partial to Kansas style (found a new place in town that's very much Kansas City style - I was in heaven!), but really, I love it all. The best thing is, though, that Nate understands this and is willing to take me to places that serve awesome BBQ.

It's nice when girls message ME on OKCupid, like, THEY make the first move. Even better when they're cute and we have something to talk about. Usually art.

I had no idea Pez was Texan.
I'm not sure living in Texas makes one a Texan. Some people would say "If a cat had kittens in an oven, that wouldn't make them biscuits."

But, yeah, I've lived in Texas for over 20 years now, most of my life.

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo. For fun, I just want to get a plain old anchor. Or maybe a Mom heart. I think either would be awesome.

Hey, the anchor or mom heart has gone around the bend from cliche to awesome. Because who has an actual anchor tattoo anymore?

The university I'm going to next semester has a gym and shower/locker room available free to all students, buildings/parking lots open 24 hours, presumably microwaves in the student lounge... I'm kind of starting to think I could get away with just getting a van to live out of instead of finding an apartment I could actually afford on financial aid...

That would seem like a terrible idea by the end of the first week.

Like Gee Scoob, that sounds like a b-b-b-baaaad idea!

Get a butterfly on your lower back.

I was throwing out some 12 to 15 year old software at work today. I stumbled across a complete set of install disks for Windows for Workstations. I did not have the heart to toss it out.

Helped my dad hang up art at the school he works at, and they are STILL using Windows XP! Bad for the school since its kindof outdated, but once they upgrade in ten years(I'm realistic)- HELLO DOS! Give or take my dad still works there in ten years instead of retires like he logically would by then, and would even know where they would send the old computers-BUT STILL- a flan can hope.

On to more serious issues, while I was stapling up pictures the cork bars were FREAKING irritating to put staples on. They were covered in used staples in thumb tacks, clean those up! People wanna staple stuff on there, and teacher's children won't volunteer to help destaple all the time. Fleh, it was manageable though. Annoying but manageable.

XP still really isn't a bad choice, unless you're using some kind of super-specialized software that can only run on 7 and up. I can't imagine a (non computer graphics/engineering) school needing anything too advanced.

Support and security updates for XP is ending in a year. Probably a good idea for businesses to start transitioning now, so they aren't stuck with a huge bill to replace all of them when that happens.
