So, I need to prepare my X-Mas wish list to my SO... what are the top 5 things you want for X-Mas?

3. Personal Coffee Brewer for work.
4. Italia soccer jersey.
5. George Foreman Grill (I can't live all winter long without grilling)

Shame you don't live closer. I still have one of the extra-big ones NIB from quite a few Xmases ago.

1) New cell phone (contingent on whether or not I can swing a murderously sweet deal or go with PAYG).
2) New Mac (already built new PC, now need to get a more recent Mac to match).
3) SSD and copy of Win7 for Kati's computer (got a laptop with a bad drive, just need to get it going again).
4) Dishwasher (old one crapped out in Feb'12). Might just get a tabletop one, not sure.
5) Bigger UPS (old ones are getting old, plus it would be nice to have everything go to the same box).

Honorable Mention: Front tires (will probably have them replaced before Xmas anyway)

A spa day
new pajamas, robe, and slippers
a nice dinner that I haven't cooked
for my husband to not be a grouchy asshole due to the pain in his back for a few days in a row (I guess this is more like a miracle than a wish)

I don't need anything, but if I were to list frivolous items...
- Sims 3 expansions
- new pjs
- the painfully overpriced Great Big Sea XX deluxe set
- massages
- 12 month subscription to Roger's Chocolates 'chocolate of the month'

Honourable Mention - an alb, but since they are generally custom made I'm probably going to have to do this one myself.

Oh God. Blue slipped a disc in his back recently. He could hardly walk yet he refused to go to the ER. Finally, after three days of it (long weekend) he consented. The doctor gave him a week off.

I wanted to murder this fucking doctor right in his fucking face. Blue beleives that pain gives him an asshole license, excusing all nasty behavior.

Hmm... I hadn't really thought about an actual list yet this year.

1. Panini press
2. Infrared kitchen thermometer
3. Free floor-to-ceiling house cleaning, from a professional service
4. A good meal I didn't have to cook
5. The rest of the knives I need to have a full set of Shun knives.

I've never understood that mentality. When I hurt my back or neck, I try to be extra nice to my wife, because I know I'm probably going to have to rely on her to do pretty much everything around the house for a few days.

Remember to just walk out of the room, if he misbehaves...

I really love to give presents. I'd rather do that than get presents.

But, on my list for this year:
1: Sketchbooks (this is the first time in YEARS that I've actually needed more, I used to generally get one or two every Christmas and birthday..but I'm out and didn't receive any last year.)
2: Disc Golf discs. Nate has a set, but I would like my own, especially since we go a few times a week in the summer. I'm horrible at it.
3: Red Hair. Because. Just because.
4: Fabric. Cosplay, it calls to me.
5: The Heirloom Collection of Sherlock Holmes.

I can send you my beard clippings, if you like :)

Me... I don't really know. I mean, I pretty much have everything I want, so I haven't really put much thought into a wish list. I dunno.

1. Good movies
2. Free tickets to the movies
3. Gift card to the local geek store/Amazon
4. This Charlie Chaplin DVD collection I noticed...
5. I dunno...

  1. Tattoos, or at least money for more. I want to get several more, and soon.
  2. A Turkish bathrobe. So fluffy
  3. All of Columbo
  4. Lagavulin
  5. A really fine leather journal with high quality paper. Something I can carry around, and doesn't cause my fountain pen ink to bleed

Frank What exactly do you mean by Necron shit of "any kind"? Because I'm not sure, but I might still have a box of Necrons I haven't touched in years at my parents' place, and we live in the same place....

It was mostly a joke list, except for the first item. I have more models than I know what to do with right now. I still have about a dozen boxes of warriors, immortals, wraiths, tomb blades and lychguard that I need to assemble.

1. Someone to do my paperwork for me. Just a few hours would be good enough.
2. A new job, without having to apply for it.
3. An end to my headaches and backaches. They make me behave like a grumpy troll to my girlfriend. I'm pretty sure I'd be a loving and caring grumpy troll without them :p
4. My brother's surgery today to go off well - he should've been out hours ago and I still haven't heard from anyone.
5. More free time alone, to play computer games and surf the net.
