It's my understanding that it was doing well. So well, in fact, that although they are saying it's done done, I think they might resurrect it in a year or two.

It's kind of a shame. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would, and while some of their new rules were gimmicky, some of them were really good (the NFL should copy their kickoff format immediately). These leagues always struggle financially but I think they would've at least made it to year two in normal circumstances.

Yeah, I think this one was due to circumstances beyond their control. Who knows, maybe third time'll be the charm?
