I turned on my computer this morning and woke up to my desktop looking like this. File Explorer doesn't look any better. All my icons are missing.
(Note, my desktop background is normally black. I used to play around with the backgrounds, but can't be bothered anymore. So that's not out of the ordinary.)
I have no idea how it happened and no idea how to fix it.
