I was speaking with Doc the other night and it occurred to me that he and all of his guys were away from their families for Christmas, New Years and God knows what else. We talked a bit about movies and I'm going to be sending a care package or two to his unit. Not just for him but for all the guys and gals.

My question, then, is two-fold.

1. Would anyone else be interested in doing this? It would be things like books, movies, etc. Note that anything sent will stay there when they rotate out so the next batch would get them. I don't know rules on food or if it's even allowed. But I want to know the level of interest.
2. If there is enough interest, who would be willing to help me coordinate so that we don't send 50 copies of Avatar?

Shit yeah, son! Sign me up for that. Just let me know how I can contribute... other than mailing anything via Amazon or FedEx, apparently. *evil glare over the intarwebs*

Hm. I don't know if I should, you know, being godless socialist gay liberal European XD But if I find some good pocket book in English, can I send it to you if you physically pack a care package?

I remember there being this one about Queen Victoria being a demon hunter... or the one with King Henry VIII as a werewolf...
