Well if you're being picky, it should be "Stimulus" (singular) and not "Stimuli" (plural) if his singing is, in fact, the only input he can receive.
Possible missed opportunity for an Ellison reference to go with the G&S.

I played the Pirate King, not Major-General Stanley. I'm much more a Kevin Kline than a George Rose.
