When has changing a well-established setting in a show EVER worked!? Fuck that, it's not a well-established setting, Sacred Heart was one of the fracking main CHARACTERS.

Very good point. Sacred Heart was more than just a setting. Like the bar in Cheers.

That said, I still watched Saved by the Bell after the show went to college... Okay, not a very good example. There haven't been a lot of shows I can think of that changed settings at all. Boy Meets World went to college, but still followed characters still at home. Sabrina the Teenage Witch changed locations, but I'd stopped watching way before that. A quick google reveals Baywatch moved to Hawaii, but I never watched.
