Ok, so it's been a LONG time since I've done anything interesting artistically. Well, last year I decided I wanted to make a Dream (Sandman) helm. I cut everything out of the HD Foam and then it sat for the longest time. Well, this spring I got the gumption again, and I finally have something worth sharing progress-wise.
Things I still need to do-
1. finish adding putty to the bone spite piece, cover up any seams
2. add the bone bits which go at the back and sides of the helm
3. weather the bone and the metal bits with texture
4. begin the painting process.
I love it so far though, and I'm quite pleased with the results thus far.

Thank you! I'm almost to the point of adding the bones and such, things feel like they are really moving now!

Bones added to the sides and back. Time to let the foam dry, hit with heat gun, wire brush, and then finish sculpting the spine piece and do the same there.

Almost done! Just need weathering and have the eyes added.
