I have that song on my iPod (heard it on radioparadise.com) and it makes me giggle like a drunk mouse

William Shatner's Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

This is a great one:

So great, in fact, that I can't even listen to Leonard Cohen's original without cringing.

Also, it saddens me that this song is best known as "that one from Shrek"

Love that song. This is my personal fav Shatner cover, though:

But then, I'm a huge Dylan fan. :D Plus I always lose it 'cause of the way he says 'in the jingle ... JANGLE! mornin' and his yell at the end.

How do you do a spoken word version of a rap song?

That album made me want to buy some Ben Folds/Five, and get some more Joe Jackson CD's. I fell through on the Ben Folds/Five end of the deal though.

Ah, so it's your fault that the idea to build a William Shatner station on Pandora popped into my head this morning.

Thank you? :bush:

I tried that. After Shatner's Romeo and Juliet it played Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch.

Yeah. It got really weird fast. I'm moving through the Shat, Tom Jones, Bloodhound Gang, Tiny Tim...I gave up for a while and moved to this weeks podcast. I might have to break down and download the Shatner stuff directly.

I like this one way better than the original. It's not the best cover out there, but it's a good one.
