Please link to videos or soundclouds of your favorite new music. I'm going mad with my playlist.

I like going over to /r/listentothis every once in a while. Some songs I've picked up from there as of late:

[DOUBLEPOST=1435376194,1435375954][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh yeah, there's also this one that CynicismKills posted in the "What are you listening to" thread. Link to their Bandcamp page.

I'm awful, all I listen to lately is 5+ year old trance.

This one sticks with me because for some reason it reminds me of the soundtrack of the old DOS game Metal and Lace: Battle of the Robo Babes.

This odd bit of C-pop I found thanks to Terrik, it's wierdly catchy

Oh man, I really love Amanda Palmer.

How can that much talent exist in one household?

Right? And she's due in three months. Their combo kid is going to be born holding a guitar/typewriter hybrid.

I've never heard of Dotan before, but I listened to this yesterday from start to finish. It was perfect for a lazy, rainy afternoon.

He's a fairly young Dutch singer-songwriter. I quite like his sound and thought most people wouldn't know him :) glad you liked it :)

This is ... really good, in a late 80's/early 90's kinda way.

Dotan sounds like what you would get if José Gonzalez was the lead singer for Fun.

Here's possibly José Gonzalez' best known song (mostly due to that Sony Bravia commercial)

And here's Fun doing their best Proclaimers imitation and performing their (second-?) best known song (my apologies to those people who have already been drowned in it during its popularity).

Ah. I recognize both songs, but I was unaware of who sang them.

The first song reminded me of America if they released an album today.

If you take out that heavy beat, I can completely see this.

Electric Six's album Fire is full of catchy, high-energy synth-rock/pop:

If you're feeling goth-y, I Am Ghost's Lovers' Requiem is good stuff:

Ima Robot's self-titledis another great synth-pop album:

And I've been enjoying Seven Lions in general for, uh, whatever genre of EDM he falls under:

HOW HAD I NEVER HEARD THIS GUY BEFORE
Really? And people say there are holes in MY pop culture...
This was my introduction to him (which you can find if you go all the way back to Necronic's 2009 post in the Awesome Videos thread).

It's all SNES-ish until 0:22, but then...
