HalForums Fanfic Colaboration

Hey guys!

So, I had an idea. What if, the entirety of HalForums makes a book of short stories?

The goes like this:
1. Get writers in on the project
2. Once sufficient level has been reached, start writing
3. Once finished writing, gather artists
4. Draw pictures for stories (1 per story)
5. Compile into Ebook.
6. Spread to Internet
7. ????????????????
8. Profit (Note. it will not be sold)

I was thinking that the book have an overarching Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror theme.
Each story would be from 2000 words to 8000 words.

What you guys thing?

(Note. i thought of this and wrote it within 5 minutes, so, any suggestions would be nice.)

Would the stories have a unified theme (for example, all are video game fanfics, or all are Twilight fanfics, etc), or could we write anything we want?
