You may remember him from such films as The Lost Boys, The Great Waldo Pepper, Annie (the 1982 version) and The Purple Rose of Cairo.

I flipped through his IMDb page, and the only appearances I think I've seen is when he replaced Fred Gwynne in the role of Herman Munster or as the dad in "The Electric Grandmother," both of which were just TV movies.

He was definitely more known when he was younger.

I remember him from the Paper Chase, The Man with One Red Shoe, St. Elsewhere, Annie, The Lost Boys, and Richie Rich, all of which were during my school years, or close to it.
