As many of us know, Frank has lost his job. This has created a considerable strain on him and his financial situation, so he has reached out for our help.

Right now he is in serious danger of losing his house. As someone who has been through this exact scenario, I know how much it weighs on you. It affects everything - your mental health, your physical health, your overall quality of life.

He has a couple rooms that he's trying to rent out so this will get him over the proverbial hump.

So let's lessen that burden, even by a little. He's asking for $500, but I think he's lowballing himself out of pride. Do not feel obligated to give and any amount is accepted and appreciated.

Note: The tab will go away once the campaign is over. I want to move it to the left but it's been so long I forgot how to move it! D'oh!

Sorry, I've been really busy today and was struggling to figure out what to say. I don't even know how to begin to express my gratitude.

You've all fallen for my secret plan to get your real names and some cash for a hooker!

Seriously though. I am actually unable to properly express how grateful I am. Both my brothers turned me down, despite how often I've bailed them out and how often I've provided them with a place to live when times were tough for them. My useless father, who I know is sitting on a lot of money from his inheritance from my late grandma, just couldn't do it. Of course not. He's never been there for me my whole life, how could I expect things to change. My mom helped me a bit, and I know she's in the shits herself financially due to some tax stuff (they're taking most of her pension until August to pay them) and I'm grateful to her because of course, my single mom has always tried to do everything for us. But you guys, people I only know via the internet and years of exchanging dopey opinions on pop culture and politics and such were there in a heart beat. This fucking community is amazing.

At Frank's request, I have taken down the donation campaign. He said $500 and we blew that number away. You are all good people. And @Frank, don't feel bad or guilty. We've all been there and happy to help. Get them rooms rented and order a pizza on us.

Bit of an update. Thanks to you insanely generous folks and some clutch sales of dumb bullshit nerd shit I own that has accrued value like you wouldn't believe, my home is basically safe through April. Hopefully April, being the season folk start actually buying houses here, I can get serious about selling the place. I also have some good feelers on new work. So, things are less awful now.

Cannot thank you all enough.
