All my GIFs are frozen. What gives?

I just noticed that for some reason none of the .gif pictures I've seen lately are not moving at all. They're just stationary pictures and nothing else. So I'm wondering what's happening?

And yes, I use Internet Explorer. Get the "lol u suck" and "Get Firefox/Mozilla/whatever" answers out of your system, and no, that's not the problem either. The .gifs worked perfectly fine before.

Does that include .gifs on your own computer and not off the Internet?

I have none on my computer. I just noticed that the .gifs here at Halforums and on other sites are locked in a single frame - your signature included.

Okay, nevermind, I found what was wrong. Some people have cats who jump on keyboards and mess things up. My problem proved to be a tech-savvy dad who accidentally fudged up some of my multimedia settings. Crisis averted.

Was about to say, if memory serves, there's actually a setting in IE for whether images are allowed to animate or not.

Sometimes they even give you one that lets you turn off looping.

That's somewhere in the depths of Internet Options, if memory serves.

There is a mother of all reset buttons in IE...

You may hit that and try your luck.

It might even install Netscape Navigator.

Isn't Firefox Netscape's country cousin?

I guess you could say that. It got closer to firefox as time went on, anyway.
