Honestly, while it may be the very definition of too little, too late, this is a nice gesture for the horrible treatment of one of the most brilliant men of the modern age.

All that fuss over liking dick. I'm really glad I live in the time I do.

...I really saw it as too little, too late.
I mean, it's one thing to pardon someone because you later realize they were unjustly accused of something.
It's something else entirely to pardon someone because you were the one in the wrong. Then it just seems more like trying to soothe a troubled conscience.

Well, to be fair, it's not like they can change the past, but yeah, it is far too little far too late.[DOUBLEPOST=1388293983,1388293835][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, following this news, the first new images of Benedict Cumberbatch playing Alan Turing in a new movie have been released.

Still a nice thing to do. I doubt anyone in charge right now had anything to do with what happened

And as a gesture of sorryness and goodwill it really has more meaning thant when the catholic churchfinally pardoned Galileo Galilei for believing in a heliocentric universe.

Let us not forget that in some countries he would STILL be considered a criminal.
