If there is a God above,
And if his name stands for Love,
Then by His righteous hand
Do I annihilate this land.

For all those people who I kill
Would they live their lives, still
If they knew their God above
Really only stood for Love?

No rallying cry to start a War,
No blaming hatred on Him evermore,

Would they follow God above,
If He only stood for Love?

No focal point to hone their Hate
No face to give their wretched Fate

Would they praise their God above,
If He only stood for love?

Without the Hate
And without the Rage,
Without the death from age on age,
Without a mighty face to blame,
Without an ultimate fate to name,
Without their evil in their hearts,
Would they follow a God above,
If His name just meant Love?
