[Movies] The DC Cinematic Universe - The David Zazlav Dumpster Fire.

From the UK review "But if Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer’s script hobbles Eisenberg, it judo-sweeps the feet out from under every woman in sight. Both Adams’ Lois Lane and Diane Lane’s Martha Kent are serial victims, Holly Hunter’s potentially sparky role as a senator prepared to stand up to Luthor never coheres, and until the big finish, Gadot isn't called on to do much but slink.

It’s a Men’s Rights loon’s dream of meathead orthodoxy, and leaves you wondering if Mad Max: Fury Road and Star Wars: The Force Awakens actually happened. Imagine Affleck, standing shirtless in a dungeon, repeatedly thumping a bus tyre with a sledgehammer. Got it? Good: that’s not just what the film feels like, it’s a real scene from it. And that’s all you need to know."

Ouch.

But...but...Batman has used guns in the comics, too! He used guns at the beginning of his comics career! That makes it totally okay, right? Even though there is a much longer history of him NOT using guns. But since it's happened a few times in the comics, that makes it totally okay!

I'm looking forward to 2016: The Year of the Gun-Totting Superheroes. Deadpool, Punisher...and Batman.

I'd include Deadshot, but that's not Deadshot. Deadshot has a pornstache.

I believe in three core tenements of superheroes:

Superman shouldn't kill.
Batman shouldn't use guns.
And Deadshot has a pornstache.

And WB screwed up on all three things. It's not that hard to get, people!

So basically...
They tried to stuff The Dark Knight Returns and the Death of Superman into one movie that was also their origin meeting, throwing in other heroes for good measure just because.

I just read the spoilery review, and while it saddens me, I think you are all missing a major benefit to this...

The return of the Super Mullet!

 Talk about shooting your load. WB had zero faith in continuing to make these movies, so they just did it all at once. What the fuck ...

I knew Superman was gonna suck it up!

.... I'll still see if I'll watch it this weekend but it's being PANNED so haaaard......

Oh well.

I seriously can't believe

they killed Superman.

Like, I really didn't think it'd be that stupid. That they'd be that desperate. Whatever the 3-hour cut is, it can't fix that shit.

http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...-bvs-body-count-more-manslaughter-than-murder

So, Snyder is saying that if Batman shoots up a car that HAPPENS to blow up and killing the dudes inside the car? That it's more like manslaughter, not murder.

Um, no. That's still straight up murder, dude.
It's also assault with a deadly weapon if they survive, as well as possession of illegal weapon and unlicensed use of explosives if he's firing missiles. Basically, Batman should be doing 25-to-life every time he pulls the trigger.
