The EPIC WIN Thread 3: SON OF EPIC

Drove to Bulrington last night, had beer and cigars with my bestie, talked about his baby boy, and drove home.

Tired today, but definitely worth it. :)

One day I'm out with my 3 year-old step son, watching him swing toward me while on the park swings.

Nathan: Daddy! Your pants are on fire!
Me: Huh?
*Nut shot*

My professor did agree to accept my final paper (I had turned in the wrong file). He only took 25 points off out of a possible 200. So my final grade for the class went from being a 73 to a 90. WOOHOO!

A few months after my wedding my step kiddos are all prancing about, holding hands, and twirling in circles.

Them: "We're married!"

I'm glad we at least made an impression on them.

Every year my son's school sends the 1st and 2nd graders to a campground on the north shore for a few days. It's actually part of the curriculum.
Mr. Wasabi is with them (the nerve block is working pretty well). They left this morning. That leaves me and Lily at home. We already went to the beach, had take out for lunch, and had an at-home pedicure afterward. Tomorrow I'll get to sleep a little late, then we're going to a friend's house for coffee and a playdate. Oh yay!

My neck finally popped, and the muscles started shifting back to where they're supposed to be. And then blood started pumping more efficiently, and I could smell again, and then things became a little less epic because, as it turns out, it smells bad in my apartment. But this is still an epic win, I finally have my full range of motion back in my neck and head, after 2.5 weeks.

My 2-year old stepdaughter was watching Jake and The Neverland Pirates one morning, and I asked her to turn off the TV so we could leave the house. She saluted me and said "Aye Aye Captain."

Gared: Wait until you smell our dairy air.
I uh... I spent most of my younger years growing up on dairy farms, so I'm already familiar with that particular aroma. This was just a temporary lack of ability to really smell what was going on around me due to the slight bit of spinal impingement I had.

Heading to the beach tomorrow with my whole family! It's our first family vacation in over 10 years. :D I'm so happy!

Learned a new hotel inter-communication tool today at work called "HotSOS". You can put in an issue and it gets routed to the right person.
When I was asked to put in an example I inputed the following information

Request: TV-Out of Order
Notify: Engineering
Room: 666
Remarks: Watter-logged woman with long, black hair crawling out of TV.

The instructor asked if I've really had this issue come up.

WHY DOES THIS PICTURE NOT COME WITH AN MP3?

--Patrick
ahahahahahahaha, awesome. The pic doesn't really show it well, but the black flame job works well on the tank, and the screamin eagle exhaust and chrome on the other side looks sweeeeeet. Ill get a pic or two of myself with it in a bit when the weather turns nice.
