I hope you're not expecting any of THOSE pictures. :p

But yeah actually! My bridesmaid took me out Thursday and took me lingerie shopping! I am armed and ready.

This week, not only did Diamond Dallas Page throw down the yoga gauntlet and challenge anyone to do YRG every day for all of July...but he also friended me on Facebook when I said "Challenge accepted!"

I'll put this week's workout bits in the Epic Win thread, but here's a pic of me doing DDP's famous Diamond Cutter signal. BANG!

Begging? You mean that isn't part of foreplay? Next you're going to tell me a trip to Home Depot for supplies shouldn't be involved either! Hmmph. Learn something new every day I guess.

Probably the first picture of myself in a while that I've put on here, if not the first ever. Standing in the favorite part of my home, makin fresh pasta. Awwwww yeah. (sorry for iphone picture)

You act more mature than your physical appearance, and you have a middle aged guy swilling wine on your avatar...
Thanks! (for sure, this time) And yeah, I guess old René kind of throws things off, huh. Maybe I should go back to my Cheshire Cat to help people realize I'm still a young one (even though I just turned 22 last week).

Also, you could be the living avatar of Francis from PVP with that chin scruff.

Is fresh pasta worth buying a pasta maker?
I think so. Although it's easier to cook dried pasta to that precise al dente point (fresh pasta is usually a bit softer), the taste is always better. It does take a bit of work, so I only make it when I have enough time. Also, given that you end up with one ball of dough, you can make all sorts of pasta depending on what you're in the mood for. So the pros are taste and variety and the cons are...time and effort, I suppose.

Yeah... Cats have basically proven to be the dominant species in western countries. They get people to groom them, feed them and take care of their poop.

And the dogs can get us to tie ourselves to them, and let them take us for walks. We even drive them around to let them meet other dogs...
Even better, we've started to review restaurants and coffee shops based on whether or not they allow dogs inside, often destroying the good name of long-time community favorite establishments just because they don't offer water bowls and dog treats, or because they refuse to allow admittance to any dogs other than service dogs. Or maybe it's only Seattle that's that fucked up.

I miss this one small town that I lived in once, they let me bring my dog on the porch so I could eat my meal. That way if I took the dog out for the day I did not have to drive 14 miles out of the way to get a meal.

None of the restaurants here provide that service.

Whaaaaaaat? I've never seen that. Is that really becoming a trend in Seattle?
