And from that day on, I wore this little 'F' key pendant everywhere I went.

I'm less impressed by the comic, and more impressed by its bringing up SkiFree after all of these years. And I never knew the 'F' key trick before.

And apparently you can download SkiFree for free from its official home page, though it seems to be having server problems right now. Can't imagine why.

Not only did the F key make you able to outrun the snow monster, it made the rest of the game way more fun. You'd have to be extra quick to dodge trees and dogs, and you got to do massive jumps.

Yep! though if you crash, or slow down again, the monster will still get you.

Which makes for a rather unsettling metaphor, when you think about it.
