As a public service, I put together some advice for starting a cult. I'm sure there are some good points I missed, and the creative minds here will hopefully fill in.
Side note: given the length of these things I typically write, is five days a week too much to expect people to keep up? I notice that on days when I'm sick or cop out for whatever reason, I still get around the same number of hits.
