My Dad grew up not far from where Chili was invented, and was a working cowboy, and he put beans in his chili... There was much more beans to go around during the depression than beef.

It actually turned out OK for an unplanned meal. Original dinner was spaghetti but kids decided to used every single pot for a drum set. So Chili in a wok!

What a novel idea. Clearly the wok is intended to prepare food that is not chili, but here you are, defying convention. I am both amused and slightly horrified at this development.
