Went to my overpriced movie theater back home to check out Mike Judge's Extract last night. It was a pretty decent movie, I laughed for a good chunk of it, but overall, I came off pretty unimpressed. For some reason I kept hoping that this movie would just be a Coens brothers movie. It didn't get as depressingly dark as it needed to be, considering the absurdly stupid and vile decisions the main characters all make.

Oh well. I wonder if years later I'll think fondly of it, ala Office Space. Then again, I was really unimpressed with Idiocracy, too...

but King of the Hill and Beavis and Butthead are still awesome, right?

I haven't seen it yet, but I think (if I remember right) it took awhile for me to warm up to Office Space so I'm thinking I might wait until DVD for this one so I can watch it a few times.

It's very Mike Judge-ish.

I very much enjoyed and it's becoming more and more clear to me that I have to find out where Kristen Wiig lives and ask her to marry me. She's awesome in everything.
