You can pick one of the characters you've drawn to come to life. Who would it be and why?

I *really* need to clean my carpets, and it's only 7:30 but it FEELS really late because of how early it gets dark. Is it too late to vacuum?

Oh, god. I wouldn't wish any of my characters on the world. Having said that...Tate Cain from the Pixel-verse. He was a pretty serious newsman. He would actually have a chance to adapt to the real world. Gul'Jagen from my first comic, Cute Ninja Girls, would be the next choice, but I'd limit his immortal culture-shocked shenanigans to Florida, where he could blend in.

I sometimes think your drawing style is a bizarro-style to my own (or vise versa). Do you think I am you from another dimension?

I don't know if you want to. The executor will carry a document granting ownership of my entire estate, but will be hunted for sport by my heirs, likely facing a gruesome, urine-soaked end. You up for that?

Are these drawings roughly based off your own likeness? Do you find that you try to change your drawn-self when you change something in real life? (glasses, facial hair, etc.)

Nope. I look nothing like my cartoon doppelgänger, (aside from a receding hairline) and none of my other characters look like me.

In college, yes. I used to enjoy a good quesadilla in my art classes, eaten with a knife and fork to keep my art makers clean and the paper pristine.

Jeezus, yes. My whole family would make fantastic protagonists - think Johnathan Franzen (minus the sex) if it were written by George Carlin. I really do need to write that book.

I guess that would be my 12th grade AP English teacher. Before that point, I was dickering with comics, and he saw them and wanted to put them in the school paper; I wound up winning an award for them.

He just...seemed to be able to get people - pretty much everyone around him. It might have been more of a social intuition, but he got me thinking about literature in a new and different way, and made a huge impact on me on how I turned out as an adult.

My art teacher in my junior/senior year told me I was wasting time drawing cartoons, and would always tell me to stop doing them. I hated that bitch. Looking back I think of all the people like me she may have been snuffing out their desires to more suit what she preferred. I'm glad she didn't break my spirit though. I wish I had someone that backed me up on my hobbies/interests when I was in high school like you did. That's an awesome English teacher you had there.

Let's see. Zombies shamble slowly, suffer from rigormortis, and can barely maintain their balance to begin with. I'm going to get a long metal pole and just tip them the hell over. Good luck getting up if your knees don't bend, ya busybody corpses.

The Dawn of the Dead remake showed they have a hell of a time getting up when knocked down. I'm sticking with the pole, or at least doing that close to a fountain.
