Alright homies, let's think of another topic.

In another thread, I kinda posited the idea of self-portraiture. Bumble the Boy Wonder and I were kinda discussing it, and for most of the entrants, ie. him, fade, Zappit, Silver Jelly and so on who OFTEN draw themselves or representative avatars, it might be more interesting to experiment with a new artistic style or media.

Of course this is just my suggestion and I'm open to more input.

That avatar...isn't me. It's Kevin from my comic Pixel. I actually HATE self-portraits. Zap is my alter ego; I've featured him in the first version of Pixel, and will bring him back with Zaptronic Comics.

How about this - designing another member's avatar alter-ego based on what we know about them?

Interesting. I like the idea of doing both, actually, and trying for some kind of internal consistency.

There's no way in hell I am going to draw myself. I once did a few pictures of myself as a centaur but c'mon, I was a teen back then.

Not necessary to actually post pics of ourselves - it's an artistic interpretation of the personality and online persona.

So...when is this happening? Is it going to be soon? Work is about to get REALLY slow for me and could totally use a project to be working on.

I think it just needs people to declare that they're throwing their hats into the ring and then it'll start in the near-ish future.
