I am alive sucks so hard. Controls are really weak. The premise was good but I just found execution really lacking. Played for about a two hours and then uninstalled it.

I Am Alive has problems... the least of which is the non-ending that raises questions for a sequel that will most likely never happen.

Partially agree. FF6 has glaring issues (huge plotholes, unfinished character arcs, over powered characters vs worthless ones etc) but I think each game has huge strengths and each one has big weaknesses as well. I can't comment on FFXII or XIII as I haven't played them all the way through but I wouldn't write them all off.

Cyan + Offering + Genji Glove was really really powerful. Coupled with the right weapons he single handly would kill bosses.
Strago's late game -Grand Train- ability was boss.

Again though, I made that list mostly objectively but there are HUGE gaps of power between the lower end of the list and the upper end of the list which was my point initially.

It's a good list. And I really liked Cyan. I just felt that he was weaker than other characters, and his magic stat was in the toilet, limiting his versatility.

We can agree that Umaro and Relm sucked balls, though.
