Well, if it makes you feel any better, I took a 23% pay cut (job-to-job) just to get the job in order to get off of unemployment, so I'm still down in salary from my last job and spending more on gas and bills than I used to - though I am spending much less on pizza.

Maybe oven mitts is slang for having sex, staying the night and requiring oven mitts for making breakfast the next day? Possibly bacon? Is bacon too forward a breakfast for the first night over or should you start slow with just oatmeal or eggs or go ghetto and have cereal with a morning romp for luck?

Yes in the show it is 1.5 base but last night I got to 2.5 base.
