Maybe it'll episodic, and at the beginning of every episode someone is murdered in the shower. And then a cop is summoned to investigate, probably played by David Caruso, and he makes a shower-related pun.

"Looks like it's... curtains for her." YEAAAAAAAAHHHHH...

"Well her day's... gone down the drain." YEAAAAAAAAHHHHH...

"Someone's going to need to... come clean." YEAAAAAAAAHHHHH...

"April showers bring... mayday calls." YEAAAAAAAAHHHHH...

I don't understand, why are they doing this. Also, Freddie Highmore? He's done nothing but play cute buck-toothed kids. Shit's gonna be weird.

Like I said. WTF?

I can't imagine any concievable reason why this should exist. Also, both Anthony Perkins and Alfred Hitchcock are spinning in their graves.

What really bugs me about it is hiring a younger guy for Norman. I mean, I don't think he's any older than 30 or so in the movie, but it makes me think they're going to drag it out and not just let it stand as some kind of miniseries.

But yeah, why.[DOUBLEPOST=1361609021][/DOUBLEPOST]Interesting side-note, they tried to do something under the same name back in '87, but it was never picked up past a pilot episode.[DOUBLEPOST=1361609268][/DOUBLEPOST]Well, I have to admit. I'm curious now.

So its a prequel to Psycho....based more than 50 years after the story takes place. Maybe this bad continuity is what REALLY made Norman Bates insane?

Can't wait till the first time they show him masturbating while watching a woman in the motel shower. That will make some impressive TV...
