Napping somewhere inappropriate.
A liberal candidate was forced to apologize to his PQ opponent for chastising her for appearing in a pornographic movie. Apparently he was ruffled at her having previous experience sucking cocks, while he like most politicians only gets on the job training.

Oh my God my wholly democratically elected premier is so fucking stupid....

She's gonna start calling herself the President of Alberta soon.

Do Canadian Premiers have the authority to issue pardons like state governors do in the US?

No. They are handled by a stand alone federal agency known as the Parole Board of Canada. And pardons in Canada do not work like those in America. They are simply an expunging of your criminal record

Technically with a lot of wibbly wobbly bullshit, King Charles III could issue a pardon, but he would be the only "politician" that could do so.

Plus if she does it, and nobody stops her, well then, I guess she can do it after all.

Been a lot of that sort of thing happening in America lately.
Arguably Danielle Smith's only talent as a conservative (and Conservative) is getting the first left-wing government in 40 years elected in Alberta... maybe she can do it twice.

Shit like this that pisses me off about the current NDP. You got what fucking done? An extremely limited means tested way for SOME kids to get dental care.

I was wrong about her declaring herself president, she fancies herself a monarch.

She fired everyone in charge of AHS, she's going to do as much damage as possible before we even get an election. I hate it here so bad and I have no where to go and no ability to actually leave.

This legislation should ostensibly appeal to me, a cranky conservative-minded person who thinks Ottawa in general and the Liberals in particular are often unfair to Alberta.

And I think it's stupid, crazy, and immoral.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) union of workers have gone on strike this week. They are basically the grab bag of Federal employees who do the grunt work behind the scenes, that we never really think about. They've been without a contract for several years. The government negotiated with the union to decide who in PSAC should be considered essential and not allowed to strike. The Feds decided that STATIONARY ENGINEERS were not essential! Stationary Engineers are a legal designation in Canada for the tradespeople that keep heat and hot water running in buildings.

Cause it never, ever gets cold in Canada.....

She took back Alberta, from herself.

Can't wait to not be able to go to a doctor without it costing out of pocket. Not that I don't already wait 2 months for an appointment as is.

From my own experience with politicians, that would be an exceedingly high number for a politician to add value.
