wow. I didn't think anything would beat his first easter when he took a kids hat, signed it, and then flung it into the greater crowd like a frisbee. What an absolute lunatic.

It's his first time ever giving something away without charging for it, it's no wonder he doesn't understand how it works.
My theory is that he was treating the child like a dog. Trying to get it to obey and do a trick before getting the treat.

Trump doing that was weird. Malania doing it afterward was weirder. Then she tried to give him candy and he walked off like "Fuck off, lady" was icing on the cake.

Holy crap, I need to watch that again. Kodos and Kang are doing a bang-up job.

I continue to be amazed at hwo Republicans can make the mental contortions necessary to say Bill CLinton should've been impeached for - maybe - doing something wrong in his personal sphere but not doing anything wrong hat impacted his job, while Trump shohuld not be impeached having done a shitton of stuff that has a serious impact on the USA and the functioning of society.

If any Democratic president had done half of what Trump's done, he'd be gone already.

Remember: republicans have absolutely zero shame or morals. They care about literally nothing beyond what gets taxes get lowered for the ultra rich. Once you accept that fact and work backwards, every single thing they do makes complete logical sense.

They only care about keeping putin happy because he helps keep them in power which allows them to get taxes lowered for the ultra-rich.

Which in turn means huge lumps of "campaign donations" that make them also ultra-rich by proxy.

Honestly, our whole system would change drastically if we reduced the power of lobbying and capped all campaign donations, but good luck with that.

Whenever I hear about politicians getting rich from lobbyists, I imagine them acting like Hexxus from Ferngully, except that they're sucking up money instead of pollution.

"Illegal immigrants pay more taxes than cheeto and statistically speaking you're less likely to be sexually assaulted by one than by cheeto."

I'm shocked. Trump is vain and old? Refusing to wear glasses is not the root cause of how terrible a person Trump is.

It exemplifies the mindset, though.

I'm sorry, you can't appear on US Federal Reserve Notes unless you are deceased. So, if he really wants to appear on a 20 dollar bill, I'd mimic the suggestion of the US Postmaster General - he should drop dead.

Negative worth, even. Someone paid real money for that worthless money.

It's so very Republican in a number of ways. Screwing over someone working in the service industry. The arrogance to believe that they can actually win people to their side by acting like assholes. Using the imagery of patriotism to try to justify their bad deeds. Etc.

The GOP mantra in 1984 was "are you better off now than you were four years ago?". The Dem's mantra should be "has anything ever 'trickled down' to you?"

Hmmm, British papers spreading the notion that jared gave the Saudis the go ahead to kill Khashoggi. And when Turkey uncovered this, strong armed cheeto to abandon Syria.

To be fair, FEMA said do it through regular channels or STFU. Similar to the military.
How is stating that "fair"? Even if it doesn't happen, he's still making a bid to normalize the behavior. A lot of people will hear that he did it, and fewer will hear any nuance to the situation. This is intentionally setting up for ever great authoritarian rule. Trying to cut off aid is only a part of the evil. Fair reporting of this situation is pointing out that he's a callous asshole with malicious intent, who is actively trying to make the withdrawal of humanitarian aid into a tool with which to punish his political adversaries. To be fair is to point out that it doesn't matter if he successfully stops the funding, because this is a big show to attempt to make people think that cutting emergency funding is to be expected from a president.

Climate change has altered the winds and seasons here, and the whole fucking state is going up in flames as a result. If California can't get disaster help for that, then Florida shouldn't get anything for hurricanes, the Midwest shouldn't get anything for tornadoes, and the rest of the country shouldn't get help for blizzards, floods, or droughts.

This is Trump cutting off funding to a state full of people he doesn't like because he's a hypocrite, thief, and scumbag.

What HCGLNS is basically saying there though, is that FEMA told him to fuck off. I get that the fires in California are bad, but you don't need to go apeshit on someone because of it.

Yeah, that's how I read it as well. But I think Tress is in a stressful situation right now, might be running a bit ragged.

While true, it's no excuse. I'm sorry for misunderstanding what he was saying and responding harshly. I've removed the invective from my earlier post.

@Tress if you're a rough time and need to call me a fucking asshole, you go right ahead and do so. That goes for all of you. After last week there was a lot in the news about the cathartic nature of screaming at cheeto in public. So before I ramble on, lets all take a break and yell out:

"Fuck cheeto and fuck that fucking incoherent Canadian Hobo HackGLenEss! How the fuck did he marry up like that? Fucking asshole is what he is. Oh great it's been thirty fucking seconds how has cheeto fucked us over now!"

Rambling on; a rough snippet of the testimony released today...

Gym Jordan: [long whining rant about how "unfair" the impeachment inquiry process is]
Chairman Adam Schiff: "Yeah, so, I'm not even going to bother addressing any of that bullshit. Moving on."

Also Secretary of State Pompeo called Sean Hannity to get the strategy on what lies to spread so he could remover her as the Ambassador to the Ukraine.

Also, New York won it's appeal and will get cheetos tax records, once they get finished with the Supreme Court that is.
